🪴 Potted Tree Sale 🪴

Ready to plant a hardy fruit or nut tree this summer? Our annual 🪴Potted Tree Sale🪴starts in June each year and runs until we’re sold out! This is a great chance to get your hands on prairie hardy trees, grafted and grown right here at our nursery in Two Hills County, Alberta (hardiness zone 3).
After our busy mail-order season wraps up in May, we pot up a limited number of extra trees, perfect for local gardeners. These trees are available by email only, not through our website.
We’re just about finished potting (as of May 30), and folks on our waitlist get first pick. Want early access? Email us to join the list, no pressure, just perks!
Stock is limited and on a first come, first served basis. Pickup is available at the nursery, or we can meet you in Sherwood Park or Calgary on set dates for a small delivery fee. Prices range from $20 to $80, depending on size and variety.
Note: Our website will show “sold out” after May, but that’s just for shipped trees. Potted trees are still available, just email us!
🌿 Why Choose Our Potted Trees?
We always recommend planting bare root trees in early spring, as they are the gold standard for strong establishment and long-term success. But if you missed the spring window, our freshly potted trees are the next best thing.
Here’s why our potted trees are worth checking out:
1. Freshly potted & prairie tough
These aren’t your average container trees. Ours are grafted and grown at our nursery in Two Hills County, right in zone 3. They’re potted up in spring after growing in the ground through real prairie winters, not root-bound and full of vigour. They are well cared for, so they’re ready to settle into your yard with proper care.
2. A handy summer option
While bare root trees need to be planted while dormant, our potted trees give you a second chance to plant after spring has passed. Perfect for filling in a spot you forgot about, replacing a tree that didn’t make it, or simply scratching that “I need more trees” itch - you know what I am talking about!
3. Friendly, local knowledge and support
We’re growers first and tree nerds always. If you’re unsure what might work in your space, we’re happy to offer guidance, by phone, email, or in person at the nursery.
Email or call us to get on the list or place your order. Pickup is available at the nursery, or we offer scheduled meetups in Sherwood Park and Calgary for a small fee.
